Corporate Event Production in Reading
Reading is one of the Thames Valley's busiest corporate towns — a Thames-side university city with a dense cluster of HQs, conference hotels, and country estates within a short radius. VIVID delivers corporate production across Reading for conferences, product launches, awards, and brand activations, with equipment and crew scaled to the brief rather than the rate card.
Why VIVID for corporate event production in Reading
Corporate organisers in Reading can draw on a broad venue list: De Vere Wokefield Estate and Easthampstead Park for mansion-and-parkland conferences, Donnington Hotel, Spa & Golf for residential programmes toward Newbury, Henley Business School's Greenlands campus just upriver for leadership events, Highclere Castle for heritage brand moments, and Malmaison Reading, Mercure George Hotel, and Crowne Plaza Reading (now Village Hotel Reading) inside the town for station-adjacent meetings and press events. Reading's strength is delegate access — the station sits on the Elizabeth line and GWR main line, putting London and Heathrow teams inside an hour — and we plan rail-in, car-in, and coach logistics as part of pre-production. Kit is specified to each room: d&b audiotechnik tuned to banqueting acoustics, Robe and Ayrton fixtures where daylight-visible lighting matters, and redundant video playback for keynote content.
What we deliver

- Lighting: Robe and Ayrton fixtures with operator on show-day
- Staging and set build — truss, decking, scenic backdrops

- Event management and project coordination

- Same-venue rehearsals and technical dry-runs
How we work
We deliver corporate events that read as considered rather than shouted. Clients come to VIVID when the brand reputation matters — when an audio glitch, a flickering pixel, or a slow room-reset would be felt across every attendee. Our approach is to over-engineer the technical so the creative can breathe. We work as an extension of the in-house team: one named project lead, transparent quoting, and equipment specified for the venue rather than upsold for the invoice.

Frequently asked
How far in advance should we book corporate event production?
For standard conferences and awards, 6-12 weeks lets us align the right kit, crew, and venue walkthrough. Product launches with custom scenic or LED builds benefit from 3-4 months. Short-notice work is possible — we'll tell you immediately what's feasible.
Do you handle venue liaison and tech specs?
Yes. We review the venue's technical specification, load-in access, power, and rigging points before quoting. You get a single point of contact from brief to strike.
Are you insured for corporate venues and conference centres?
Yes. Public liability cover and risk method statements are issued with every quote. Venue technical teams are briefed upfront and RAMS are supplied as standard.
Can you handle hybrid or livestreamed events?
Yes — broadcast-grade audio capture, multi-camera video, and dedicated stream operators. We scope the livestream stack alongside the in-room production so one doesn't compromise the other.
Do you cover Reading's conference hotels and the surrounding Thames Valley estates?
Yes. De Vere Wokefield Estate, Easthampstead Park, Donnington, Malmaison, Mercure George, and the Reading conference hotels are all within our regular working radius, alongside Henley Business School and Highclere Castle.
